12/14/2011 - NWF State College Spring Registration & Holiday Hours

Registration is currently in progress at Northwest Florida State College for Spring Term classes that begin January 9 and March 2. Individuals may enroll in-person at all seven NWFSC locations now to December 15 and January 3 to 17. Online application for admission, enrollment, fee payment and textbook purchase is ongoing and available throughout the holiday break on the college website at www.nwfsc.edu. All seven college locations will re-open Tuesday, January 3 at 8:00 am for all in-person college services. Expanded Spring term registration hours from January 3 to 17 are 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday to Thursday and 8:00 am to 4:30 pm on Friday at all college sites except Eglin and Hurlburt, which maintain standard business hours of 8:00 am to 4:30 p.m. For information, contact the NWFSC campus nearest you at: Niceville: 729-6922, Fort Walton Beach: 863-6500, Crestview: 200-4141, DeFuniak Springs: 200-4100, South Walton 200-4160, Eglin 200-4180 or Hurlburt: 200-4190.

Mattie Kelly Arts Center Holiday Box Office Services

The in-person and phone Box Office of the Mattie Kelly Arts Center at Northwest Florida State College is closed from December 16 to January 2, but the center's online Box Office is open over the entire holiday break. Those who purchase tickets online through the center's website at www.mattiekellyartscenter.org during the holidays will be sent tickets following the New Year or may elect to have tickets held in will call. For information, contact the Mattie Kelly Arts Center Box office at 850-729-6000 or toll free 1-888-838-ARTS (2787) by December 15 or starting January 3.

Online ticket sales are available for all the 2012 national touring shows including: "Blast!" appearing January 18; "Damn Yankees" -- a Tony Award winning musical comedy on January 28, "Simply Sinatra starring Steve Lippia," on February 4; "Brigadoon" on February 15; the comedy "Monty Python's Spamalot" on February 24; Las Vegas comedian and magician "Andy Gross" on March 10; and the Mel Brooks musical comedy hit "Young Frankenstein" on May 10. There is a $5 per ticket discount for groups of 10 or more tickets purchased together and a 10 percent discount for purchases of Season packages. The discounts are only available for in-person or phone sales, not via the web.
