NWFSC Flute Ensemble in Concert April 14 & 15

3/8/2012 - The ensemble "Flutes Furioso" of Northwest Florida State College will perform twice in free concerts in April. The flutists will perform on Saturday, April 14 at 12 noon at the Tyler Recital Hall, in the Mattie Kelly Arts Center on the college's Niceville campus and again on Sunday, April 15 at 2:30 p.m. in the atrium of Westwood Retirement Resort at 1001 Mar Walt Drive in Fort Walton Beach. Both concerts are free of charge and open to the public.

The Flutes Furioso ensemble will premiere two new pieces at these performances, in addition to popular and classical favorites from the flute choir repertoire. Flutes Furioso, the only flute choir in Northwest Florida, is comprised of some of the area's best high school, college and adult flutists.
