National Tour of DRUMLINE Live! Nov. 7 at Mattie Kelly Arts Center

Mattie Kelly Arts Center

10/23/2012 - Kicking off its fourth packed-house USA tour, DRUMLINE Live will "parade out of the football stadium and onto the stage" of the Mattie Kelly Arts Center at Northwest Florida State College in Niceville on November 7 at 7:30 p.m.

With riveting rhythms, bold beats and ear-grabbing energy, DRUMLINE Live is a synchronized musical and athletic showcase based in the historically black college/university tradition of the show-style marching band. The versatile cast of musicians and dancers have honed their precision and energy with years of training in marching band programs across the southern United States, bringing rave reviews wherever they perform.

The show features an explosive mix of sounds – from the hottest contemporary hip hop, R&B, and classic Motown tunes to the rousing sounds of the great brass tradition. With “Boisterous brass, perfectly precise percussion syncopation, and sassy dance numbers [that] fly off the stage and into the audience," The Clarion hails DRUMLINE Live as "a definite crowd pleaser…a must see!"
