The Century of Women exhibit at Mattie Kelly Arts Center Jan. 19 to Feb 1

1/8/2013 - Northwest Florida State College will host the SOKA GAKKAI INTERNATIONAL worldwide Buddhist Association's Exhibit, The Century of Women, from January 19 through February 1, 2013, in the Mattie Kelly Arts Center McIlroy Gallery on the Niceville campus. This exhibition highlights inspiring and remarkable women who are dedicated to a peaceful future.

The Century of Women will open with a ribbon-cutting at 1:00 p.m. at the center's Seven Dancers Sculpture at the main entrance to the arts complex, followed by an Opening Ceremony at 1:20 p.m. in the Holzhauer Gallery of the Art Wing.

Following the Opening Ceremony, The Century of Women will be on view Monday – Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Mattie Kelly Arts Center Galleries are always free of charge and open to the public. The galleries are located in the art wing of the Mattie Kelly Fine & Performing Arts Center on the Niceville campus of Northwest Florida State College at 100 College Boulevard.
