Northwest Florida State College Division of Humanities, Fine & Performing Arts
The Humanities, Fine & Performing Arts program at Northwest Florida State College features a host of academic majors and performance opportunities for students interested in the arts and humanities.
Because of its association with the Mattie Kelly Arts Center, it presents unique opportunities for professional-level experiences in dance, theater, voice, music and visual arts. These experiences complement academics that provide the core for select two-year A.S. degrees, industry-specific certificates, or two-year transfer programs.
Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra
Through the artistry of its professional musicians, dynamic performance venues, and exhilarating performances, the Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra (NFSO), in its 30-year history, has become one of the most important musical/arts organizations along the Gulf Coast region.
Mattie Kelly Arts Center Art Galleries
The Mattie Kelly Arts Center Galleries comprise two adjoining galleries which together showcase about six to 12 different international, national and regional exhibitions each year. The Galleries also host gallery talks, workshops, and other related events.
Educational and Community Programs
The Mattie Kelly Arts Center offers multiple community and education programs for adults and children, including musical theatre workshops, symphony, volunteer opportunities and more.
